The Pedal and Paddle Bicycle Tour is a series of bike rides and river paddling in Michigan’s “River Country.” This is the name given to the Three Rivers area with its scenic farmland, meandering roads and plenty of rivers. Dotted with historic towns, Native American names, and Amish farms, River Country has more navigable waterways than any other county in Michigan thanks to its hundreds of small lakes, rivers and streams. Our three day tour will immerse you in the diverse geography, history, flora and fauna of this beautiful corner of Michigan. All ages and ability levels are welcome as there are many mileage options to choose from. We spend one afternoon canoeing or kayaking the scenic Rocky River with another optional paddle on the Portage Creek the next day. Riders can expect paved roads, easy terrain, marked routes, SAG services and three meals. Our team of dedicated local volunteers will also be there to make sure you and your family have an incredible, authentic, Michigan experience!
