Join us on Saturday, April 23rd in the Nocatee Community for a 5k run and a 1 mile fun run. This race is in it's first year and is a fundraiser for K9's United. The 5k will be chip timed 5km and there is aslos untimed 1 mile fun run, both open to runners and walkers of all levels.
This event supports K9's United, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping the K9 units of local law enforcement agencies in the Northeast Florida area. The organization was formed in 2015 following the death of K9 Officer Baron, a member of the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office for just a year and a half. Baron was killed by a wanted felon he was pursuing. His story is one of courage and dedication as well as tragic loss..
In addition to the race there are fabulous post race activities for the whole family including a K9 demonstration.
