The OLYMPIC DISTANCE TRIATHLON is a great way to test your winter's training program. The longer distance is designed to challenge your ability. The race begins with a .9 mile swim in the crystal waters of Purity Lake. This time of the year water temperatures will be in the low 60's. A wetsuit is not mandatory, but may be worn. Scenic roadways of Madison, Freedom, and Tamworth combine to make the 32.1 mile bike course. Enjoy the rolling landscape! This course has a challenging hill at mile 19 followed by a 1 mile down hill. Complete your race with a NH flat (rolling) 6.2 mile run along Rt. 153 into Eaton and back. The event is open to all ability groups age 13 and up.
The KING PINE TRIATHLON SPRINT DISTANCE is the perfect season opener for veterans of the sport looking to dust off the cobwebs as well as a beginners looking to experience their first race. Designed with beginners in mind, the race begins with a 1/3 mile swim in the crystal waters of Purity Lake. This time of the year water temperatures will be in the low 60's. A wetsuit is not mandatory, but recommended. Scenic roadways of Madison and Freedom N.H. make up the 12.5 mile Bike Course. Enjoy the beautiful rolling landscape on the newly paved road system. Run along Rt.153 into Eaton. and back. The event is open to all ability groups age 13 and up.
