Calling all Superheros!!

The area's only April Fools' Fun Run / Walk, and it's happening here at 6:00pm on Friday, April 1st, 2016.  Don't miss out on our 6th Annual April Fools' 5k Superhero Fun!! 

Profits from the OSI - Miron Construction April Fools' 5k will go to Appleton North, East & West athletic programs.  With your support, over the past 5 years ... The April Fools' 5k has donated $75,000!!!

Post- Race Fun at Appleton North High School: race awards, best dressed superhero competition, kids games and post-race buffet. 

We are all surrounded by Superheroes that we look up to and admire... SOOO why not celebrate year #6 by dressing like your favorite Superhero!!  The overall most attention-getting Superhero winner earns a $150 Scheels gift card -OR- new for this year, enter in our group theme category (2-5 race participants) for a chance to share a $150 Scheels gift card (costumes must be worn the entire race).

Post- Race Party at The Stoneyard for those 21 years of age or older featuring the band RPM!!

Join us for this fun and competitive 5k Run / Walk on our certified course starting at OSI and finishing at Appleton North High School on Friday, April 1st @ 6pm!!

Registration: Encouraged to register on-line at www.active.com.  

FEES Children 12 & younger - $12 includes Superhero Swag for our Superhero theme

(Add on youth t-shirt available - $5)

FEES Students 18 & under - $18.00 includes adult Brooks race shirt

*All entrants will receive an OSI resuable bag, chip timing and either Superhero Swag (for children 12 & under) or a long-sleeve Brooks technical shirt (value: $28). Entries received after Monday, March 14th, are not guaranteed these items.

Thursday, March 31st 3:00 - 6:00pm at OSI

Friday, April 1st 3:00 - 5:15pm at OSI

6:00pm - April Fools' 5k Run Begins at OSI

Immediately following the completion of the race: Race Awards, Best dressed Superhero competition and Family Fun Activities at Appleton North High School.

8:00pm - close: Post-Race Party sponsored by The Stoneyard, featuring local band RPM.

*5k Run / Walk: Competitive & recreational 5k will start at OSI and finish at Appleton North High School.  This flat, fast, chip timed & certified 3.1 mile course is perfect for all ages.   Strollers and wagons are welcome!  However, for the safetly of all participants, we encourage you to begin towards the back of the starting area.

*Lamers will be providing shuttle service between OSI (start line) & Appleton North High School (finish line).  Participants are encouraged to park at Appleton North High School and shuttle to OSI to decrease parking congestion.

4:30 - 5:30pm Pre-Race Shuttles

6:30 - 8:00pm Post-Race Shuttles

*Awards will be presented to the overall male and female finishers.  Also, awards to the first three male/female age group finsihers (excluding overall winners).  Age groups: 9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, etc.

The top three male and female overall finsihers receive free entrance for the 2016 April Fools' 5k!

Overall Best Dressed Superhero winner earns a $150 Scheels gift card OR enter in our new group theme category (2-5 race participants) for a change to share a $150 Scheels gift card (Costumes must be worn the entire race).

*Award ceremony & Superhero competition will take place at Appleton North High School following the completion of the race.

*Post-Race Party At The Stoneyard: 8:00-Close with entertainment by local band RPM.  Must be 21 years of age or older and show I.D.  $5 cover charge will be collected form those not wearing an April Fools' race bib or volunteer shirt.
