The Life's A Beach Triathlon is stoked to be the fun triathlon that almost anyone can finish! And, we're working hard to make 2016 our best Hampton event to date--with a new fun beach obstacle or two and expanded expo fun!

FAMILY-FRIENDLY TRIATHLON

Want to race with your family? We allow racers down to 9 years old AND you can all sign up for the same starting wave! That's right--start waves are not based on age group--you choose! So, you can also race next to friends and coworkers!

We'll even have a FREE Hatchling Dash Kid's Run (with finisher's medals!) event for the younger kids--so bring along the entire family for some beach fun!

BODACIOUS BEACH BASH AFTER-PARTY

Heard your serious triathlon friends talk about shaving seconds off their transition times? Well, at Life's A Beach "transition time" means how long it takes to get you from the finish line into beach bash mode--dancing in the sand to the beat of our live music or chillaxing with a cold beverage (2 beers included in your entry if you are of legal drinking age!) while waiting for your friends to finish.

EVENT DISTANCES

Almost Anything Goes Swim--200 yards

• Want to use fins, snorkels or a boogie board? Have at it!
• Want to use an inner tube, swimmies or a pool noodle? You CAN at Life's A Beach!

Chillaxin' Bike--5 Miles

• Our Hampton bike course is all wide sidewalks or paved roads!
• We recommend beach cruisers or mountain bikes (in keeping with the spirit of our event), but allow road bikes in Hampton (you just need to decorate them enough to slow them down!)

Beach Run--2 Miles

• We break up the run a little with fun, beach-themed obstacles!
• We are the only triathlon where you hurdle lounge chairs and pink flamingoes and limbo across the finish line!

LIMITED TRANSFERS AND DEFERRALS MAY BE AVAILABLE UP UNTIL MAY 31, 2016. AFTER THAT DATE, DEFERRALS WILL REQUIRE AT $15 FEE.
