The Miami Clean 5K

The Porter Project and Come Clean Events will hold their Inaugural Miami Clean K on Sunday, May 15th. The 5 kilometer (3.1 mile) certified course goes through beautiful Tropical Park located in Miami, FL. This 5K run/walk is dedicated to raising awareness and educating young and developing athletes about the dangers of anabolic steroids and performance enhancement drugs. The Porter Project promotes clean and honest competition across all sports.

Come Clean Events is the Event Division of the Porter Project. This division will produce and execute clean events and activities across the country, to promote the message of clean and fair competition in sports, and to keep the health and safety of young athletes our top priority.

• Certified 5K course and Chip Timing

• All participants will receive a "comeclean" wristband.

• All finishers will receive a limited edition “clean competitor” medal

• The first 150 pre-registered entrants are guaranteed a custom designed race t-shirt.

• All participants will receive a special comecleanevents gym towel. 

• Trophies will be presented to the top male and female finishers in 4 Age categories. (the Young Adult (18 and under), the Adult (19-44), Mature (45-64) and Senior (65+) categories)

• There will be 1st, 2nd and 3rd place medals awarded to the top male and female finishers in each of 10 different age categories.

• Additional incentives TBD

• Pre-Race Packet pick up at Fit2Run locations (times, dates TBD)

During and after the event, everyone is invited to enjoy the contemporary sounds of DJ Arista, interactions with several vendor business tents and sample the flavors of some of our best local food trucks. There will be balloons and face painting for the kids, as well as some guest speakers for the awards presentations. It’s a great way to support clean and fair competition while enjoying a fun family atmosphere.
