Our 2nd annual Mindbender 5K Run/Walk is a fundraiser to raise awareness and funding for Alzheimer's research and care support. Alzheimer's disease has been called the defining disease of our generation. As baby boomers age, this disease is projected to take a huge toll on society. Since there is no prevention, cure, or treatment and since there are no survivors who can give their suvivor stories, it is up to us! We need to be the voice, to take a stand, and to raise awareness and funding to FIGHT ALZ!
We strongly encourage team building! The fastest racers in different categories and the top 3 fundraising teams will be recognized after the event. Participants who join the 5k before March 1 will receive a free t shirt.

Event details and schedule
Registration will begin at Homewood Central Park at 7:00 am. We encourage people to register ahead of time. T-shirts can be picked up at registration. Race begins at 8:00 am. Baby strollers, baby joggers, wheels of any kind (except competitive wheelchairs) and animals are strictly prohibited. Free t-shirt included when registering before March 1. While this is mapped as a 5K, it is not certified.
