Join us for LPCF's inaugural Heart Hero Hustle 5k and 1-mile fun run! This event benefits the Louisiana Pediatric Cardiology Foundation (LPCF) a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that supports families with children battling congenital heart defects. In addition, LPCF provides free heart screens for high school athletes. This event is a partnership with Ascension 4-H and will be held at Lamar Dixon Center. Runners of all ages will enjoy the beautiful scenery of the course around the lake. Men, women, boys and girls of all ages are invited to participate. This is a non-competitive race but a clock will be posted at the finish line for runners to check their times. Every finisher will receive a custom Heart Hero Hustle medal. A 1-mile congenital heart defect awareness walk will take place immediately after the 1-mile fun run ends. Food, drinks and fun post-race activites for children will be provided.
