2016 Kansas City Triathlon & Duathlon:
• Now in its 8th year, the Kansas City Triathlon will be under new ownership. Ultramax Sports is excited to keep the tradition of high quality racing to the local multi-sport community. The Kansas City Triathlon™ offers a flat, fast course that travels through the scenic terrain of Jackson County, Missouri. For 2016, The Kansas City Triathlon will feature a duathlon, sprint, olympic and olympic relay race options. All participants will receive a custom technical tee as well as a finisher tee when they cross the finish line. Awards will be presented to the overall winners of each distance as well as top 4 in each age group.

Triathlon Race Course:
Sprint:
- The Sprint distance course includes a 500 meter swim in Longview Lake, 20K bike course along the scenic roads around Longview College and finishes with a 5K run through the trail system of Longview Lake.
Olympic: - The Olympic course consists of a 1.5K swim, 40K bike and 10K run throughout the same areas as the Sprint Course.

• Longview Lake in Kansas City is located just off of 470 and Raytown Road with easy access from 435, I-35 and 291.
• Race starts at the west swim beach.
