Eisenbahn is a German word for railroad and the Eisenbahn Trail is built on a former railroad corridor. The trail is 25 miles extending from the historic city of West Bend, Wisconsin into the scenic countryside of eastern Wisconsin and past the glacial ladscapes of the Kettle Moraine State Forest. The course passes through the communities of West Bend, Kewaskum and Campbellsport.
The Adrenaline Marathon on the Eisenbahn Trail is in our 6th year and serves as a fundraisesr for Elevate, Inc., a private not-for-profit dedicated to helping youth, adults and families struggling with behavioral issues or involvement in the criminal justice system. Course Information:
The trail is surfaced with limestone screeings however racers will start and finish the event on 1.25 miles of paved asphalt. This is an out and back race on a relatively flat course. Participants will begin and end the race near downtown West Bend, Wisconsin. Full marathoners will turn around in Cambellsport, 1/2 marathoners turn around in Kewaskum, 1/4 marathoners and 5K participants will turn around north of West Bend, Water/aid stations and porta potties will be avilable along the course. Food will be at the start/finish line. Trophies will be presented following the race for the top 3 finishers (with exception of 5K Walk/Run participants). Medals for the top 3 individuals in age divisions. Finisher medals ant t-shirts for al participants including 5K.
