Entry fee is $95 until Jan 1, $105 after for marathon, $75 until Jan 1 and $95 after for half marathon. The top 3 male and top 3 female finishers will receive trophies as well as top 3 male and female age groups. This race was created to help support local kids running events like the Body First School Fitness Challenge, Poyntz Avenue Mile, & The Marvin Hachmeister Bad To The Bone 5k. These events provide money to local schools PE programs, scholarships to kids, and money to local high school cross country teams.
Course Information:
This theme-filled marathon and half-marathon tours the historic Military Road Trail in Wamego, Kansas, and ends in front of the famous Oz Museum. Characters from the Wizard of Oz greet you as you finish. USA Track and Field certified course.
