Come run with us! The Girls on the Run 5k is the culmination of the GOTR of Eastern Iowa's 10-week fall season. More than 500 girls in grades 3-8 from 34 area schools in Johnson, Linn, Jefferson, and Washington Counties will celebrate their "girl power" by running this celebratory 5k with their coaches, families, friends, and community members. Our 5k is chip-timed and open to the public. All ages and abilities are welcome-you can run, walk, skip or dance to the finish line! Please no dogs or strollers. All participants must register for the event- registration includes you race bib, timing chip, t-shirt and refreshments. Go to www.girlsontheruniowa.org for more information!

Take Gilbert/Sand Road to the Napoleon Street entrance; Sycamore Street will be closed.
