Join the Edgerton Explorit Center and The Leadership Center for the first Spooktacular 5K Dash & Bash! Costumes welcomed and encouraged! There will be a 5K run, 1 mile fun run & activities for every one in the family! There will be a costume contest for kids and runners. Prizes awarded to overall winners and winners of each age division.
All race participants are invited to the Edgerton Explorit Center and Plainsman Museum Halloween Spooktacular which runs from 1pm to 5pm the day of the race. Bring your race bib in for free admission to the event!
Course Information:
It will be mostly running path and prairie. There will a little concreate. It will not be on the road or streets.
Directions:
Directions to The Leadership Center:
Coming from the East On Highway 34 as you enter Aurora from the East, on your right is The Leadership Center right before the bridge entering town. There is a large red sign by the entrance to the driveway.
Coming from the South If you are arriving from the interstate, take the Aurora exit and turn right onto Highway 14. Highway 14 becomes 16th street as you enter Aurora. Continue to follow until you reach the intersection of Hwy 34 and Hwy 14 where there is a stoplight. From there take a right, for about a half mile. Once you cross over the bridge exiting town, The Leadership Center will be on your left right after the bridge.
Coming from the North If you are entering from the north on Highway 14, you will reach the intersection of Hwy 34 and 14 where there is a stoplight. Take a left and continue for about a half mile until you cross over the bridge exiting Aurora. The Leadership Center is located directly after the bridge on your left.
Coming from the West If you are coming from the West, continue on Hwy 34 through town and past the stoplight. Just after the bridge as you are exiting town, The Leadership Center is located on the left hand side on the edge of town.

The funds raised from this event will go to support programs at both The Edgerton Explorit Center (http://www.edgerton.org) and The Leadership Center (www.tlcaurora.org). Both organizations that are non-profits that work with students, groups and wonderful people from all over Nebraska, the United States and several international groups.
