| Brief Description: | It's the end of another year of racing. We had more events on our triathlon schedule than any year prior, and we thought the perfect way to finish it up would be with a Championship event. Any participant who raced in our of the Five Star Managed Triathlons and place in the overall top 3 OR finished in the top 2 of their age group is qualified. Here's the events than you can qualify at: --Gainesville Park & Rec Sprint, Super Sprint & Kids Triathlon --1 Can Tri Super Sprint & Kids Triathlon --North Georgia Super Sprint & Kids Triathlon --Mid Summer Super Sprint & Kids Triathlon --Chopped Oak Sprint, Super Sprint, & Kids Triathlon --East Cobb Sprint, Super Sprint, & Kids Triathlon --Kid Fit & Adult Fit Triathlon --Bootlegger Super Sprint & Kids Triathlon |
| Special Bonus: | With the idea of keeping the entire family involved, after the championship wave starts, we'll have an open division wave. They'll have a regular triathlon shirt and finisher medal...but they'll get a chance to race the same course as all the qualifiers. |
| Registration & Day of Registration: | Regular Registration is $55 for Adults & 50 for kids and includes an upscale technical race shirt and a finisher medal. Late registration is considered any registration after Oct. 4th. We will have extras, but T-shirts will not be guaranteed on race day for anyone registering after Oct. 4th. Day of registration starts at 7:00 am and is $5 additional |
| T-shirts: | These are the championships...so we upscale everything. All participants registered by Oct. 4th are guaranteed a upscale race shirt in their size. Women can also order a Women's Cut. Anyone registering on race day will receive a unisex shirt while supplies last. |

| Kids Race: | After all the adults have finished their race the kids will start their event. The adults do they're bike on the road, but the Kids Race will be completely on the park grounds. Visit the Fivestarntp.com page for complete information on either race. |
| Course: | The swim will be done in the Aquatics Center Pool; The bike leg will be done on the roads around the aquatics center for the adults, and on property for the kids. The run will be done on the park grounds using all paved surfaces. |
| Adult Distances: | Super Sprint…250 swim, 8 mile bike, 2.25 mile run Sprint…400 swim, 16 mile bike, 5K run |
| Kids Distances: | 5 & Under…25 swim, 2/3 mile bike, .15 run. 6 & 7…Swim - 50 yds Bike - 2.6 miles Run - .5 miles. 8 & 9...Swim - 75 yds Bike - 4 miles Run - .66 miles. 10 & 11...Swim - 100 yds Bike - 4 miles Run - .66 miles. 12 & 13...Swim - 125 yds Bike - 5 miles Run - .75 mile run |
| Estimated Swim Time: | Athletes will be placed for the swim start based on their estimated swim time. This will allow the faster swimmers to go first, and keep them from catching the slower swimmers. Please do your best to have an accurate time. You'll need to have your best guess at how long it will take you to complete your entire swim. |
| Five Star Turkey Trot Qualifier: | All participants registered for the race will qualify for FREE entry into the Five Star Turkey Trot held on Thanksgiving Day. See race website for details. |
| Awards | We'll have championship finisher medals for all participants as well as Amazing Adult Awards to the top 3 overall male & female as well as the top 3 masters male & female. Awards also to the top 3 age group finishers for male & female 19 & Under through 75+. Awards for kids will be in each division...top 3 in boys & top 3 girls. |
| Event Courtesy Policy | Our events are designed to be fun and for the entire family. With that in mind any competitor, spectator, parent, volunteer, or sponsor, exhibiting unsportsmanlike conduct or interfering with the positive, competitive atmosphere of the event will be asked to leave the venue and course immediately with no refunds. |
