Our Las Vegas Series is comprised of three breathtaking trails. We will begin with McCullough Hills in Sloan Canyon on early Friday evening. Start the day on Saturday morning with the challenging Bootleg Canyon portion of the series, and our event will end with the trail in the iconic Red Rock Canyon.
- 25K cumulative miles and 50K cumulative miles - Come Run the Canyons!! Triple Dare Running Company is hosting a race with three beautiful and unique canyons over two days. There will be a Friday late afternoon race, Saturday morning race, and a Saturday late afternoon race.
The McCullough Hills Trail will be featured in Sloan Canyon. The surroundings vary from lowland dry lake beds to volcanic rock peaks reaching more than 5,000 feet. The trail climbs gradually through rolling hills that are sparsely covered with creosote bush and white bursage. This is the least technical trail of the three in the series.
Bootleg Canyon is located north of Boulder City, just outside of the Lake Mead National Recreation Area. This canyon features world-renowned bike trails and zip-lining. The race will bring runners up switchbacks that will offer breathtaking views of Lake Mead. The longer run will also offer views of the Las Vegas Strip. This is the most technical trail of the three in the series.
Red Rock Canyon exhibits some of the best examples of the Mojave Desert. The spectacular views consist of sandstone cliffs up against the Spring Mountains, narrow canyons, creeks, and waterfalls. The scenery changes and become more beautiful with each step.
There will be awards and entertainment and we will have great raffle prizes!
