The Blast! :
Adventure Race : 4-6 miles paddling, 5-9 trekking, 12-15 biking

The Blast is the first urban adventure race in southeast Michigan and will take place in Pontiac and the surrounding areas.

It will start and end at the Phoenix Plaza Amphitheater. The Race is 6 hours long with a cut-off time of 2 PM.

Course Information:

Depending on the route you take, youll bike 12-15 miles on urban streets and trails and paddle 4-6 miles.

Youll have additional route choices in the orienteering sections which cover 5-9 miles on foot.

Youll also get to do some climbing and special events. Youll find out more about these activities on the day of the event

Directions:

Located at 10 Waters Street in Pontiac in the center of the Wide Track loop and south of M59.

Other Info:

This event is a great opportunity to try out adventure racing for the first time and also a chance for experienced racers to prepare for longer events.

Triathletes can also use this event for training since the disciplines are similar.

The event cost includes a t-shirt, some cool swag, food after the race, and giveaways from our generous sponsors.

There will be prizes for the top three finishers in each division as well as a drawing for other products from our sponsors.
