2015 City of Palms River Run 10K & 2 Mile Walk:
• The Fort Myers Track Club presents the 37th Annual River Run 10k & 2 mile walk in downtown Fort Myers on Saturday December 5th, 2015 at 8am.
• Proceeds for this race go to GiGi’s Playhouse of Fort Myers. A non-profit organization dedicated to educating the community on Down syndrome, inspiring those with Down syndrome to reach for their dreams, and believing that anything is possible.
• The course takes runners over both the Caloosahatchee and Edison Bridges.
Course Information:
• This 6.2 mile course starts in downtown Ft Myers east of 41.
• The first mile is flat as you do a loop just to the west of 41, before heading up the Caloosahatchee Bridge and into North Fort Myers.
• The next couple miles are also flat, as you turn right onto Pondella Road, then right again onto Business 41 heading back towards Ft Myers.
• As you cross the Caloosahatchee River again, this time on the Edison Bridge. You will hit the 5 mile mark on the way up the bridge.
• Once at the bottom of the bridge, it is a right hand turn onto Edwards Drive, and about a half mile sprint to the finish.

• Centennial Park is located on the Caloosahatchee River.
• Access from Edwards Drive.
• Directly under the Caloosahatchee Bridge - (a.k.a Rt 41/Cleveland Ave Bridge)
