FAQ

When and where does the race take place?
Thursday November 7th, 2015. The race course begins on Stetson University's campus in front of the old print shop and the Carlton Student Union Building (what students refer to as "The Commons", that is, the student cafeteria). The course continues onto "Hatter Tracks", a series of Stetson logos that are painted on the sidewalk around campus. Course will also be marked with cones and volunteers. Parking is available wherever visitor parking signs are posted (by the pool, near admissions, at the Hand Art Center) and by the Tennis Courts on Woodland Blvd. Registration opens at 6 p.m. Race start time is promptly 7 p.m. Remember, survivors start 30 seconds before zombies, therefore there will be two start times. Come dressed as true to character as possible!

How long is the course?
The 5K is 3.1 miles.

How will I be timed?
This is a fun with NO chip timing. All participants are self timed. There will be a clock at the finish line.

How will I receive my results?
Official results will be provided for the top 3 males and top 3 females

Who gets a T-shirt?
Only pre-registered runners that successfully complete the registration and payment processes seven weekdays before the race are guaranteed a free race t-shirt. Pre-registered runners in the seven days leading to the race are first to receive their shirt and preferred size.

Can I participate with a stroller?
Yes, nurturing future generations of runners is a priority and demonstrating healthy lifestyles to our kids is special. Please, however, start in the later part of the runners.

Should I bring my own water?
No, a water station is available on the course. Since this is a triple loop course, you will have three opportunities to get water while on the course. Water is also available at the finish.

Will the race be held if it's raining?
The race is a "rain or shine" event. All participants are encouraged to dress appropriately for the weather, such as in a rain coat or hat. Umbrellas can pose a safety hazard to others, so please do not bring them.
What will be provided after the race?
An awards ceremony will take place after the race at at the start/finish location.

Can I transfer my entry to someone else?
We have a strict NO TRANSFER policy.

Where do I park?
Free parking is available wherever visitor parking signs are posted
