_ 2016 Chasing Caterpillar Triathlon:
• The second year of the Chasing Caterpillars Triathlon promises to give every participant and spectator the most enjoyable event possible. The event is first class all the way. The swim is an individual start 250 meter pool swim in the Olympic 50 meter pool of Martin County's new Sailfish Splash Park. Visitors will be able to watch the event from the comfortable bleachers and see the triathletes exit through the transition area to the bike course on local closed roads. The new three loop bike course gives spectators the chance to cheer on their favorites. Then through the transition area again onto the run, a 5 kilometer event with a finish through the arches of the Sailfish Splash Park. The Awards will recognize all for their efforts . The event will draw experienced and beginners alike, all of whom will enjoy the comraderie and the competition!
