2015 Road to Wellness 5K Run/Walk:
In partnership with the B.A.A., HoodFit and The Dimock Center, The Road to Wellness 5K Walk/Run is aimed at inspiring mind, body and spiritual health through fitness and exercise while embracing Roxbury’s rich history, diverse culture and strong sense of community. The Road to Wellness 5k is anticipated to engage over 1,000 participants from over 200 surrounding communities to unite runners and walkers in their pursuit of wellness.
The event includes:
- 5K Run or 2-Mile Walk
- Health and Wellness Festival, with the opportunity for participants to receive health screenings, talk to experts about health and fitness, and explore offerings from area businesses.
- Kids Fun Run
- Light entertainment
Course Information:
5K Run, 2-mile Walk through the historic Roxbury neighborhood. Kids Fun Run on-site.
