The 2015 One More Tri Triathlon is an event for athletes of all ability levels, from the seasoned competitor to the first-time triathlete. This year’s One More Tri will be a fundraising event AND a Special Olympics competition, making this a Unified Triathlon Experience, where Special Olympics athletes and members of the community compete side-by-side. This race is inspired by a simple principle: the act of competing together ensures a quick path to understanding, acceptance and friendship. Events include a triathlon, duathlon and aquavelo, each available in either a sprint race distance or a short sprint race distance.
Course Information:
SPRINT RACE DISTANCES
- Triathlon: .25 mile ocean swim, 12 mile bike, 3 mile run
- Duathlon: 1 mile run, 12 mile bike, 3 mile run
- Aquavelo: .25 mile ocean swim, 12 mile bike
SHORT SPRINT RACE DISTANCES
- Triathlon: .11 mile ocean swim, 6 mile bike, 1.5 mile run
- Duathlon: .5 mile run, 6 mile bike, 1.5 mile run
- Aquavelo: .11 mile ocean swim, 6 mile bike
