The Newport Sharkfest Swim will take place along the historic waterfront of Newport. The swim will start at the harbormaster’s dock in Perotti Park in front of the Newport Marriott Hotel. It will be an in-water start in waves of 75 to proceed past the docks on your left side and anchored sailboats on the right side of the swimming channel. The 1500 meter swim will be a straight shot down the harbor to finish on the beach at King Park in the shadow of the statue of Rochambeau.
