Can you survive the horde of zombies?  Come run the Corpse Crawl 2014 5K at Graham Creek Nature Preserve on August 9, 2014 at 5:00 PM.  Across various landscapes there will be zombies roaming the Preserve looking from brains (or flags).  Try and run the 5K course while keeping at least one brain (flag) when you cross the finish line.  Top three males and females with a brain (flag) remaining will receive zombie survival kits.  Register by July 31 for $25, but August 1 fees are $35.  First 150 racers are guaranteed a Corpse Crawl shirt.  Due to course conditions, racers must have completed the 4^th grade to be eligible to run.  Register through www.active.com or bring your registrations and entry fees to City of Foley Community Development at 200 North Alston Street, Foley, AL.  Volunteers will be limited to the first 75 zombies.  Zombies must pre-register at City of Foley Community Development.  Proceeds benefit the Foley High School Cross Country Team and Foley’s Graham Creek Nature Preserve.  For questions about the event, contact [email protected] or call 251-952-4011.

Event details and schedule

Racers should report at least 30 minutes prior to the event for packet pickup.  Race waves will begin at 5:00 PM.  Each wave will be up to 100 racers with waves every 15 minutes.  Course will be the standard 5K with at least 10 structural obstacles along the way. And don't forget about the hordes of corpses trying to steal your brains (flags)!  Cross the finish line with at least one brain (flag) left to be in the running for a zombie survival kit!  The course may be muddy so be prepared!
