Been thinking about getting in shape? Maybe you are looking for a fun way to test your fitness, but are nervous about committing to a major event. The Holmes County Duathlon is right up your alley! The Holmes County Du is a fun, family-oriented event where people of all ages and ability levels can take the plunge into personal fitness.
Need a little help from your friends? Maybe you are a runner but the thought of lycra bike shorts is just a bit too much. Fear not! The course can be tackled individually, or as two and three person relay teams.
Family Friendly! This year’s duathlon features a free kid’s run, fun hands-on activities, and a bounce house!

Course: The Holmes County Duathlon course highlights the natural beauty of Holmes County. Situated in the cozy town of Glenmont, participants will begin with 3 laps around town before heading down the road towards Killbuck on the bike. Upon return, athletes will take a 5k stroll down the scenic Holmes County Trail. Maps are available below for your convenience.
The kid’s fun run takes place on the first run route (see below) but is only one lap.
