The 6th Annual Waterloop Trail Run will be on Saturday Evening, August 22nd at 6:00 pm. There will be races for all ages and abilities with 1 km Fun Run around the Pond for kids and walkers, a 5 km trail run for runners, and 10 km trail run for longer distance runners. All three races will take participants through water sprays, sprinkers, and the splash pad.

The trail run has some challenging spots with a few steep inclines and declines, but it can be described as a non-techinical trail with very few loose rocks.  All runners should be prepared to get a little wet, so wear the appropriate clothes and running shoes.  After the race, runners can cool down and recharge with cold drinks and refreshements and there will be more food available for purchase. Also after the race, there will be medals awarded to the top 3 male and female in each 5k and 10k age groups.

Register by August 16th to take advantage of the $5 discounted entry fees and to gaurentee your Waterloop T-shirt. Wings members are eligible for $3 discount, or $5 discount for running the double (Bacone 5k that morning and Waterloop that night). All Proceeds from this event will go towards the Hilldale Educational Foundation, a privately funded group that improves education at Hilldale Public Schools through teacher grants and special projects.

8/16 - T-shirt deadline and last day to pre-register at lower prices

8/20 - Last day to registration online

8/21 - Packet pick up and Late Pre-Registration at the Splash Bash at Hatbox River County Water Park from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.

8/22 - Race Day!!! -

- 4:30 pm - Packet Pick-up and Race Day Registration at Honor Height South Shelter (New registration location)

- 5:45 pm – Start of the 1 km Fun Run

- 6:00 pm – Start of the 5k and 10k Trail Run
