Based out of the first beach at the Fort Peck Dredge cuts.   

Transition opens at 6:30am. Race begins at 7:30am

800m swim at Beach #1 dredge cut. Water temps approximately mid 60's to low 70's.  Wetsuits allowed. 

13.7 mile bike ride departs Beach #1, take a right, head towards Fort Peck.  Head up Teton Rd, a steep but short climb. At the top turn left onto E Kansas. (This route will be a slow easy climb until reaching the top of the dam) Continue to stay left on Milk River Dr as you make your way through this "Mayberry" like town. Milk River Dr exits onto MT 117/Missouri Ave.  Continue 1 mile to the tree where you will make a sharp left, here you begin a flat 4 mile ride across the dam. Turn around is at the 4 shaft house.  Return on the same path.  No drafting, helmets required. 

3.1 Mile Run departs Beach #1, take a right out of the parking lot, take the first immediate left at Deerborn Rd. A quick little hopover to Judith Rd.  Left at Stillwater Rd. Pass Stillwater Brew and grab a double espresso if needed. Continue to Kiwanis. Turn around point is just after winter harbor dock.  Return on the same path. 

Youth Course: 100m swim, 2 mile bike, 800m run.  Swim is at the beach, bike follows same path as adult run, turn around at Stillwater Brew and return to beach. Run follows same path as bike, turn around will be marked. 

Parking: Some parking is available at Beach #1.  Additional parking is available just north of the parking lot as well as at the fish hatchery.  Please do not parallel park, angle park to accomodate more vehicles. 

Check In: Friday night from 5-7 pm, race packet pick up and information on course.  NO registrations on race day. 

Event Cancellation: Race commisioner reserves the right to modify, change, or cancel the triathlon for weather and/or safey conditions.
