10K TRAIL COURSE DESCRIPTION:
"Lakeshore Trail" is a moderate level trail that is challenging, yet beautiful, as it winds along the shores of Lake Norman. Runners will run a shaded course through Lake Norman State Park, crossing several roads and bridges during the 6.2 miles. Open sections provide opportunity to pass while technical single track sections will test runners' skill with tight corners, sharp descents, and power climbs. There will be several water stations throughout the course, as well as a restroom mid-course.

5K ROAD COURSE DESCRIPTION:
3.1 mile course will take runners along wide roads throughout Lake Norman State Park. The surrounding forest provides runners with beautiful views and a shaded course. There are no steep uphills or downhills along this course, perfect for both recreational and competitive runners. There will be one water stop along the course.

ENTRY FEES:
Pre-registration guarantees Recover brand recycled t-shirt. T-shirt not guaranteed for race day registration.
5K Road: $25
10K Trail: $35

START TIME:
Both races will start at 8:30 am.

PACKET PICK-UP:
Packets can be picked up Friday night between 6:30-8:00 pm at:

Packets can also be picked up Saturday morning between 7:30-8:00 am at the race location.

RACE LOCATION:
759 State Park Road Troutman, NC 28166

Please follow the signs in the park for the Swim Beach, located at the back of the park. Parking will be at the Swim Beach. Parking is limited so please carpool if able.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
No dogs allowed for either race. No strollers allowed on trail race, but are welcome for the 5K road race. Headphones are not recommended to be worn during either race. Restrooms are available at the start and finish line, as well as on the 10K course.
