The inaugural H-E-B Bike Fest Texas is helping celebrate H-E-B's 110th Anniversay of serving Texas by serving up a bike tour through the 'heart' of the scenic Texas Hill Country. Starting and ending in beautifula Boerne, Texas, just a short ride up IH-10 W northwest of San Antonio, the H-E-B Bike Fest Texas will have four different route distances to choose from... A true Century Ride (100 miles), a 110K distance to go along with the 100th Anniversary (68 miles), 38 miles and 17 miles. The routes offer some of the most scenic rides you'll ever get to enjoy in Texas. It is the Texas HIll Country so it has some rolling hills to it adding a little more of a challenge than 'flatlanders' may be used to, but nothing too difficult. BUt we promise the scenery on the ride will more than make up it! It's going to be a fully supported ride with hundreds of volunteers, plenty of refreshments and fuel at Rest stops located every 10 miles and lots of fun, food and music when you're all done so you can kick back and enjoy your accomplishments. The event benefits the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) and takes place on SUnday, September 13, 2015.
