For the 5th year, Seville Quarter is recreating the “Running of the Bulls” in historic downtown Pensacola. This annual event, made famous by author Earnest Hemingway, has participants chased by angry horned bulls.
Course Information:
The Seville Quarter encierro features the Pensacola Roller Gurlz as the “Bulls”. As the first blast is at 10:00 a.m. the runners will take to the roughly three mile course. At the second rocket the bulls will be released, wielding wiffle bats, to chase down the participants. As is customary in Pamplona runners are requested to wear all white with red kerchiefs or sashes.
