A 2-mile Fun Walk along the Nick-A-Jack Trail in the Blue Ridge Mountains. This will be followed by a cook-out with live music and will benefit Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Awareness. 4pm Registration. 5pm Walk followed by party. $30 registration includes t-shirt. $35 day of event registration. $20 to attend the party (no t-shirt)
Course Information:
Trail walk in the Blue Ridge Mountain Club. Gentle slopes with crushed rock trail.
Directions:
From Boone, Take the Blue Ridge Pkwy south. Turn left on George Hayes Blvd (immediately after Aho Rd). Stay to the right at the fork for 1.1 miles. Turn left onto State View Rd. for .4 miles - Blue Ridge Mountain Club will be on right. Through the gates, 5 miles on the left. Park at the big white tent.
