The Boston Prostate Cancer Walk 5K has joined forces with ZERO – The End of Prostate Cancer and will now be presenting it's annual walk as the ZERO Prostate Cancer Run/Walk – Boston. The run/walk features a 5K run/walk, 1 mile family fun walk, and Kids Superhero Dash.
This is the Inaugural ZERO Prostate Cancer Run/Walk - Boston hosted by The Cancer Resource Foundation, Inc.
The race route will go up and down the historic heartbreak hill, part of the official Boston Marathon route. Join us for this fun filled family day featuring plenty of activities for kids including: face painting, games, and pony rides. There will also be educational tents provided by sponsors, support groups, local providers, and hospital groups.
The funds raised from ZERO Prostate Cancer Run/Walk - Boston are invested around the country to provide research for new treatments, free prostate cancer testing, and educate men and families about prostate cancer. In the past, the event has funded 62 prostate cancer research projects and 51 prostate cancer awareness presentations in Massachusetts.
