Asheville Duathlon

The first 5k run on paved roads that will be a flat, out and back course starting at the Winery and paralleling the French Broad River, folled by a transition to mountain bikes for a ride onto packed dirt roads through the west side of the estate. Here racers, will slip by working vineyards, normally off-limits to the public. The bike will finish with a couple miles on paved trails on the east side. (The bike course is mountain bike recommended. Cyclocross may be okay but there is rock and gravel on the wide carriage roads, so no single track.) The second Duathlon Run is perfect for the adventure seeker, as it is the most challenging leg of the race, complete with dirt roads and technical single track trail. 2 or 3 person teams are welcome in the Asheville Duathlon!

Asheville 10k Trail Race at Biltmore

The 10k Trail Run consists of mostly single track trails that give extraordinary views of the mixed forests, fields and rugged landscape by Antler Hill Village and the Inn on Biltmore Estate, all while relishing the beautiful forests these extraordinary grounds offer.

Asheville Gravel Grinder at Biltmore

The NEW Gravel Grinder Bike Race offers a choice between 40 or 60 mile options. The first 6-8 miles is on paved surface where bikers will ride in front of Biltmore House and the gardens. Cyclists then switch to dirt/gravel paths on their way to the west side of the estate which is all gravel/dirt carriage roads. The hilly west side features beautiful countryside, old barns, a working farm and the Biltmore Vineyards. Depending on the gravel grinder distance you select, you will do one or multiple laps (around 8-10 miles) on the west side of the estate. After completing the west side you will finish in Antler Hill Village where you started.
