The Annual Hightstown Sprint Distance Triathlon is a beginner friendly race that starts and ends in downtown Hightstown by the Peddie Lake. The course is fun, flat and fast. There are many options and race categories for participants such as an aquabike, duathlon, and relay teams. The race will also feature Clydesdale, Athena and “Newbie” award categories. 

New this year is a special "Buddy Wave" start.  This is a special start wave for those who would like to start their swim with a relative or friend. This category will not be eligible for awards but will still be timed. You will also receive a finisher medal , t-shirt and all other event amenities. Select this option upon registration.

Event details and schedule

Packet Pickup and Race Day registration, if spots available: Open Saturday at 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm and from 5:30-6:30 pm on Sunday morning. Adults are encouraged to pick up their race packets on Saturday.

We will have a DJ, photography by USCandids, post race food, finisher medals, age group awards, and raffle drawing with many great prizes donated by our sponsors to give away following the awards ceremony.

Water temperatures have typically been in the low to mid 70's on race morning.
