This outrageously fun day includes a Hero’s 8.5k Race and a Family Walk (both for adults and kids), as well as a Kids’ Hero Dash specifically for our smaller yet mighty superheroes. Superhero costumes are STRONGLY encouraged for all who attend, and capes will be provided for the kids.
One in three thousand people worldwide are living with neurofibromatosis (NF), a disorder that can cause tumors to grow on nerves throughout the body. Join the Iowa Heroes NF Walk and Run on August 8th at 8:30am at Terry Trueblood Recreation Area.
