2015 Onalaska Triathlon:
Join us for the 3rd Annual Onalaska Triathlon located in the town of Onalaska, Texas just 10 minutes from Lake Livingston. This event will take place at the KOA camp sight located approximately 10 minutes off 59 on Hwy. 190. In addition to the area hotels we will be offering camping Saturday evening, make a weekend of this great event. For camping reservations email Tina at [email protected]. There are 40 camping spots and 10 rv's spots available.
Enjoy a great lake swim followed by a beautiful scenic ride through the rolling hills in Onalaska and a nice run through a neighborhoods in Onalaska. This event will start at 7am. New after event beer being brewed just for this event; The Onalaska Blonde!
Course Information:
SWIM - The swim is a 1.2 mile open water lake swim in Lake Livingston. We will have a rectangular course with a wave start, and a cut off time of 75 minutes.
BIKE - The bike is 56 miles through quiet rolling hills which cut through the Texas forest. Bike cut off time is 1pm. There will be rest stops at mile markers 10'ish, 21, 31, and 45; complete with water, food, and Hammer Products. The rest stops located at mile 31 & 45 will have rest rooms.
RUN - The run is 13.1 miles by Lake Livingston and through area neighborhoods in Onalaska. This course is flat and you will do three loops and head back to the finish line. We will start the rest stops at mile 2 and they will continue every two mile after and will be complete with water, food, Hammer Products, and we have located rest rooms at the largest rest stop.
