Join us in sunny Somerton, Arizona for the 5th Annual Somerton Tower Triathlon & Duathlon. This event continues to grow every year and we expect a great turn out again this year.
Great sprint triathlon and duathlon for those new to the sport.
- Fast flat course.
- Ages 12 and over.
- Individual and relay categories.
- Awards three deep per age group.
- T-shirts, finisher medals, and goody bags for all participants.
Yuma Athletics and the City of Somerton is promoting this event to provide local athletes a venue to compete and to raise funds for the youth of the Yuma Athletics to compete in regional events.
Course Information:
Sprint triathlon: 300 meter pool swim, 12.5 mile bike, 3.1 mile run
- Pool swim, serpentine style. 15 second staggered start.
- Bike ride is an out and back on a flat, protected course.
- Run is through the CIty of Somerton.
Duathlon: 1.5m run, 12.5 mile bike, 3.1 mile run
- Flat run through City of Somerton.
- Bike ride is an out and back on a flat, protected course.
- Run is through the City of Somerton.
