TRIck or Tri is a triathlon and running event that will be held on Saturday, October 31 at the 836-acre Sante Fe Recreational Area in Irwindale, which boasts a serene 70-acre lake considered to be one of the best hidden jewels in Southern California at the foot of the San Gabriel Mountains.
In the planning stage for 3 years, we are proud to announce the race that looks to set the standard relative to athlete safety, venue selection and creature comforts for individuals, teams and charities.
One Of A Kind Venue
- Safe - Entire course closed to vehicles
- PR Course. Flat & Fast
- Swim: Serene Lake Swim
- Bike: 80% of race on pristine asphalt with 250' of elevation [Olympic]
- Run: Flat run around lake on mostly paved surface
1. From th 210 freeway, east of the 605 take the Irvindale Avenue exit for 0.2 miles.
2. Turn right onto N Irwindale Ave and proceed 1.5 miles.
3. Turn right onto Arrow Highway and drive 0.5 miles.
4. Turn right at Azusa Canyon. Entrance to the Sante Fe Dam will be 0.4 miles.
5. Sante Fe Dam Recreational Area charges a $10.00 entry fee per visit. TRIck or Tri has no control over access pricing. A Sante Fe Dam Recreational Area Parking Attendant will collect your fee. Once inside the Recreational Area you will be directed to the parking area.
