The TCT7 Swim is a WOWSA sanctioned event that offers a one mile, 3.5 mile and 7 mile competition course in Lake Park, GA. There is a dinner the night before the event, and is free for all entrants. Registration packet pick up is held on Saturday, 12 Sep, from 12 to 6 at the Lowndes County 4H Camp at Long Pond. Opening ceremonies begin at 7:30 AM the morning of the 13th and the race begins at 8 AM. The event celebrates and honor the life of James Eunice, and all proceeds benefit the James Eunice Charity Fund, a 501c3 fund which has donated over $230,000 to the community, including 118 scholarships since 2011.
Course Information:
The event offers a one mile course, which is an out and back event lined by buoys and safety personnel. The 3.5 mile course is one full loop around Long Pond. The seven mile course is two full laps around Long Pond. 3.5 and 7 mile contestants can provide their own kayak escorts, or the event will try to provide dedicated kayak escorts for these swimmers.
