The Mid-America All-Indian Center and Friends Culture Dash 2015 is a 5k run/walk event on Saturday, Nov. 7 that celebrates Day of the Dead while encouraging participants, from the littlest to the oldest, to pay attention to their health. The chip-timed race begins at 9:30 a.m. on a flat course along the Arkansas River. Participants will finish at the foot of the iconic Keeper of the Plains statue.
After the race enjoy activities at the Indian Center as well as $1 admission to the Museum. Register by Oct. 24th to receive the early bird $25 discounted rate that includes Culture Dash T-shirt. The event is a fund-raiser for Indian Center programs that preserve American Indian history and Culture.
