The Cahaba River Ramble is a 5K and 10 Mile race along the natural beauty of the Cahaba River in the Cahaba River National Wildlife Refuge in West Blocton, AL. For 2015 a 10 mile adventure option has been added. This race includes 2 mile canoe, 4 mile bike and 4 mile run segments.
The $30 registration fee goes to support the Cahaba River Society whose mission is to restore and protect the Cahaba River watershed and it's rich diversity of life. The Cahaba is the main drinking water resource for the Birmingham Water Works Board which serves about 20% of Alabama's total population.
