Join us for the inaugural Arkansas Trails Triathlon in Garden City, KS! This is a one-of-a -kind event complete with a two-lap perimeter swim around the Big Pool (roughly 400m), a 12 mile cycle, and a 4 mile trail run along the cutout trails of the Arkansas River bed.

Event will begin and end at the Big Pool, 504 E Maple, Garden City KS. Day of registration begins at 6:00am, event begins at 7:30am.
This event will be the final leg of the Triple Threat Triathlon Series consisting of a trathlon in Scott City, Holcomb, and Garden City. Finishers of all three events will receive a custom finisher's jacket to commemorate completion.
Series Dates- Scott City, Saturday, July 25. Holcomb, Sunday, August 2. Garden City, Sunday, August 9th.
Course Information:
Swim will be roughly 400m AROUND the Big Pool to mimic an open water tri.
Bike Course will be all paved, out and back onto Old Highway 83. Helmets are required for the bike portion of the event.
The run will go roughly a quarter mile through Finnup Park before jumping onto the trails along the Arkansas River bed. Course will be mostly dirt trail with 2 very small sandy sections (less than .10 miles each).
5 aid stations will be available along the course. One at mile 6 (turnaround for the bike course) and at miles 1, 2, & 3 along the run route.

Parking will be available at the Clint LIghtener Baseball Field, 706 E Maple.
Spectators will not be allowed in the transition area during the event to allow for smooth transitions for participants. Spectators are welcome on the pool deck outside of the designated participant areas.
