2015 Northbrook Youth Triathlon:
• The first Northbrook Park District Youth Triathlon will be held on August 8. Participants can swim, bike and run your way through this event. Children ages 9 to 14 will be allowed to sign up and compete in this one day event. Swimming will be held at Meadowhill Aquatic Center and the bike and run will be through the neighborhood. The groups will be split into ages 9 and 10 year olds will compete in a 50 yard swim, 1.5 mile bike and .75 mile run. Ages 11 and 12 will compete in a 100 yard swim, 3 miles bike and 1 miles run. Ages 13 and 14 will compete in a 150 yard swim, 3 mile bike and 2 mile run. All participants will receive a race shirt, goodie bag and medal.
