5 K, 8.5 M, 25 K, 50 K plus a 1.25 M Fun Run

The Fuzzy Fandango is a trail running event that will encourage runners of all abilities to enjoy the Mohican Region by running a great network of trails that skirt Pleasant Hill Lake, traverse waterfalls, follow a river bed that junctions a covered bridge and meets up with a Firetower.
We will be hosting the race start and finish on Camp Nuhop’s Main Property. We have closed the whole property to enhance the fuzzy experience.
There is an option for runners to stay at Camp Nuhop before and after the Fandango. Check out our virtual tour to get a feel for the property and options for great fall weekend for runners and families alike!
This will be an adventure away from ordinary running for some and just another day in the park for others but a great time for everyone!
Course Information:
2015 Distances
This year's distances will include 5K, 8M, 25K and 50K.
The 5 K course will take runners from Nuhop onto adjacent private property and into Mohican Forest!
The 8 m course will take runners from Nuhop onto adjacent private property into Mohican Forest on horse, hiking, mountain biking and forest service roads. The 8 m course will take runners to the covered bridge, up Big Lyons Falls to Pleasant Hill Dam and back to Nuhop!
The 25k course will take runners from Nuhop onto adjacent private property into Mohican Forest on horse, hiking, mountain biking and forest service roads. The 25 k course will take runners to the fire tower down to the covered bridge, up Big Lyons Falls to Pleasant Hill Dam and back to Nuhop!
The 50k course will take runners from Nuhop onto adjacent private property into Mohican Forest on horse, hiking, mountain biking and forest service roads. The 50 k course will take runners to the fire tower down to the covered bridge, up Big Lyons Falls to Pleasant Hill Dam and back to Nuhop then back out on horse trail through Pleasant Hill Outdoor Center around Pleasant Hill Lake over Pleasant Hill Road to Malabar Farm on the outer loop to Mt. Jeez and back to Nuhop around Pleasant Hill Lake to a final climb to Nuhop or it will do a double loop of the 25 K course.
The Fuzzy Fandango is the first race to link all three parks in a single 50K race. Come and enjoy this course!
