Fun and scenic routes (30+ -100+ miles) combining pavement, gravel as well as a bit of the Chaparral (NETT) Trail. Road bikes with fat tires will be fine for the longer routes (75% pavement) but the ideal bike is probably an adventure/gravel/cx bike with fast rolling tires for the longer routes. Mountain bikes are fine for the short route as it uses more of the Chaparal Trail and quite a bit of dirt road.

This is the first stage of the Filthy Fondo Series. Each route will be timed and recorded. The longer routes will have stage times which roll into the series overall calculation. There is no cash on the line for the series but best overall times will receive some cool acknowledgements.

Support stations will be on course and team support will be allowed (rules/conditions to be announced shortly). Neutral SAG WILL NOT be available. So please do not register if you can not complete this ride or arrange for transportaton out if you suffer a major mechanical.

We are starting the ride late morning to allow everyone to visit the monthly Farmers and Fleas market in the morning. We encourage everyone to bring the family along and make a day of it. Farmersville will be rolling out the red carpet and other activities will be announced soon. Music, beer and cold drinks will be available into the evening and we might even show a movie after the sun goes down if folks are still with us. More details on festivities soon.

We are pleased to announce that Pedal Against PTSD will be receiving a portion of each entry to further their cause. Pedal Against PTSD is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that has a mission to empower veterans to overcome PTSD through the sport of cycling.

Each ride entry will go into a drawing for a bike donated by Mad Duck Cyclery. More details soon.
