Our Bike Tour is a non-competitive ride through scenic north central St. Croix County, Wisconsin, and is sponsored by the New Richmond Pathway Committee and The Centre.

The ride will be on county roads with paved shoulders, lightly traveled paved country roads, city streets, bike/pedestrian pathways, and Wisconsin’s newest Rustic Road #116. Depending on the route selected you will pass through the hamlets of Boardman, Cylon, Forest, Deer Park, and Star Prairie.

This bike tour would not be possible without the generous financial support of the New Richmond Edward Jones offices. Net proceeds from the tour will be donated to the New Richmond Area Community Foundation’s Recreational Trail Fund.

Course Information:

You are permitted to ride any type of human-powered bike you like. The bike should be in good repair and appropriate to the distance selected. Helmets are required.

Aid stations with food, water, and toilets will be located along the route and a free lunch is provided at the finish. Additional food and beverages will be available for purchase.

Route maps will be provided at the start and signage and spray chalk will be used to keep you headed in the right direction.

Cycle St. Croix is held in conjunction with Corn Fest, so there is more to this than a bike only event. Free corn on the cob, 5K run*, youth run, inflatables for the young, and live music will help round out your day.

The 12K Family Ride is designed for parents and children or those who feel 7.5 miles meets their abilities. Route will include some city streets.

The Family Ride participants will all start at 10:15 and will stay together throughout the ride. Up to 4 family members (2 adults & 2 children) can participate for the special Family Ride registration fee (see form).

Everyone must wear a bike helmet. Individuals who wish to participate in the 12K Family Ride use regular registration guidelines. T-shirts are included with your fee, but may be of a lesser quality than those participating as individuals.
