Running : Run 10 Miles |
Missouri's First 10K Run : Off Road |
Running : Run 6.2 Miles |
• This is a race for the fearless. Do not do this event unless you have a very good level of fitness. It will be hot and hilly, which is why it is worth the maximum amount of points. The race begins and ends in McClelland Park. Runners head east on Glendale Road before entering a loop that includes Falls Hill, named for Missouri’s largest waterfall which is on the route, Castle Hill and a few other surprises.
• The 10k doesn’t include all of the hills, but it is equally challenging. Do not expect to PR this course. Most runners want to prove something to themselves, and if that is you, then this is your race. The course has beautiful rural scenery, max points, and finishing this one is rewarding.
