2015 Missouri's First 10 Mile & 10K Race Series:
• A series of 8 races in 8 different cities spread out across Missouri.
• One race per month with the main distance being 10 miles.
• There will also be a 10K option available.
• Trophy to top 3 finishers in each age group.
• Anyone who completes all 8 races regardless of finishing time will receive a jumbo medal to recognize their achievement of conquering all the courses.
Course Information:
The looped course is pretty and the 10 mile encompasses all three of Springfield’s campuses (Ozark Technical College, Drury University, and Missouri State University).
The course is mostly flat and fast, with the only true hill located on the 10 mile course on Sherman Street, between Jordan Valley Park and Hammonds Stadium, home of the Springfield Cardinals.
