2015 Naval Station Newport Sprint Triathlon:
Active Duty personnel, eligible family members, retirees and reservists - $35
DoD Civilians - $50
General public/contractors - $65
Two/three member teams - $80
Prizes to top femal and male in each age category, top overall military female and male, top military (all members military), top male and top female teams.
Event is limited to 300 participants.

Course Information:
Swim:
• The 1/3 mile salt water swim is set in a sheltered, shallow and clear water cove.
Bike:
• After the swim head to a large transition area and proceed to a 10.5 mile bike ride on and off the Naval Station property following along Narragansett Bay.
Run:
• The final part of the challenege is a 3.1 mile run through Naval Station Newport complex.

From Interstate 95: Take Interstate 95 South onto HWY 4. HWY 4 will turn into US 1. Bear right onto 138 East (Newport Bridge). Travel over the Jamestown Bridge and Newport Bridge (toll). Once over Newport Bridge continue on 138 East towards Fall River and Cape Cod. Follow exit towards "Newport Grand" and bear right coming off the exit. Enter rotary, go around the rotary to other side and go over the railroad tracks and through the stoplight. This will take you to Gate 1 of Naval Station Newport. Follow signage to Triathlon parking.
From Interstate 195: Take Route 24 South (49 miles) till it becomes Route 114 South. Follow Route 114 South straight (7 miles). Turn right at the light onto Admiral Kalbfus Road/Route 138. Newport Grand is on the left hand side after the 2nd light. Enter rotary, go around the rotary to other side and go over the railroad tracks and through the stoplight. This will take you to Gate 1 of Naval Station Newport. Follow signage to Triathlon parking.
