Zombie Charge is the most authentic zombie-infested 5k mud run with obstacles, trails, mud, swamps and surprises coming back to Southern New England. As a runner you have to strategically run the course and survive by avoiding the zombies charging after you trying to steal your flags. As a zombie, you have to grab the oncoming runners flags. Either way, your heart will be racing! Do you have what it takes to survive the second infestation to hit Connecticut?
Course Information:
An awesome thing about Zombie Charge is the ability to adapt from region to region so each course is unique to it's surroundings. For example, New England terrain is very different than the Houston setting. That said, here's what we promise:
- You will get muddy.
- You will be chased by zombies.
- You will have hills to climb and climb down.
- You will not be chased by dinosaurs, everyone knows dinosaurs are extinct.
- Some courses will have boulders to climb.
- There will be no swimming, but there will be water and we know that some zombies live in the water.
- You will conquer difficult obstacles even without zombies on the course. Some obstacles include climbing walls, prison yards, tunnels, and other "climbing" obstacles.
The courses & obstacles are created by a team who live and breathe obstacle course racing - we know what is fun and what is lame. We don't accept lame.
All this said - the course itself is an immersion into a post apocalypse zombie-infested world. Your day will be transformed from the moment you park your car to the moment you leave to go home… if you survive!
