2015 Point Duathlon Presented by Cellcom:
• 2015 Point Duathlon presented by Cellcom is Saturday August 22. This is a chip-timed event that starts in Parking Lot Q at UW-Stevens Point. The duathlon consists of a 2 mile run, 16.5 mile bike ride, and a final 2 mile run to the finish line! There are two types of running terrain. The first course is on paved streets and sidewalks through the UW-Stevens Point campus. The final running course takes place in the shaded trail through Schmeekle Reserve on the Green Circle Trail. The biking course covers a flat region throughout rural scenic areas. Age divisions ranging from under 20 years to 70+ along with relay teams up to three people are eligible to participate. Registration forms will be available after April 1 online or at the Stevens Point Area YMCA. The event starts at 8:30 am with a mandatory pre-race meeting at 8:15 am. Event day pick up and registration runs from 6:30- 8:00 on August 22.
